Circle of Trust, also titled 24h, is an installation that reflects on the importance of human availability in a time defined by speed, distance, and digital communication. The work begins with a simple yet essential idea: that a friend should be someone we can reach at any hour. The twenty-four chairs represent the twenty-four hours of the day, symbolizing the possibility of constantly listening, welcoming, and being present for another.

At the same time, the installation recalls one of the most ancient forms of human gathering: sitting in a circle around a fire. For millennia, this gesture has brought communities together to converse, tell stories, transmit knowledge, and strengthen bonds. The circle created by the work evokes this ancestral space of encounter, without center or hierarchy, where each person occupies a place of equality, and where words circulate freely, as does listening.

Yet the installation goes beyond symbolic evocation. It becomes an exercise in observation and participation, in which the behavior of each visitor becomes part of the work itself. The twenty-four chairs invite visitors to make choices about proximity and distance. Upon entering the space, will they choose to sit beside someone, initiating a conversation? Or will they leave empty chairs between themselves and others, preserving a certain distance?

Through 3D-printed concrete, Circle of Trust gives form to the idea that communication, like matter, can be shaped. Layer by layer, technology transforms a rigid material into a space of connection, suggesting how dialogue can shape differences into a shared structure of trust, empathy, and collective resilience.
It is within this shared space that trust ceases to be merely an idea and becomes an experience. Each presence alters the balance of the circle; each choice reshapes the relationship between the individual and the collective. The work becomes a space where dialogue may emerge, but also where silence, distance, and proximity begin to speak.
In this sense, Circle of Trust (24h) operates simultaneously as sculpture, gathering space, and social experience. The work invites reflection on friendship, listening, and the making of community, questioning the extent to which we are truly available to others and how we choose to inhabit a shared space. Each person who takes a seat within the circle contributes to completing the installation, transforming it into a living portrait of contemporary human relationships.
