Abrir e planificar o cubo foi o ponto de partida para a criação deste trio de peças, que usam as obras tridimensionais e as formas geométricas neoconcretas como referências na criação de seus múltiplos planos. Dois materiais foram combinados para marcar a parte frontal do cubo e harmonizar a área de contato de cada peça com o exterior: o metal (também muito usado no período neoconcretista) e a manta de raspa de pneu reciclado. O resultado é um padrão novo e encantador, destacando as linhas orgânicas que podem ser visualizadas nos encontros entre as superfícies. Opening a cube and transforming it into a plan was the starting point for the creation of this trio of pieces that use three-dimensional artworks and geometric shapes from the Neo-concrete movement as reference in creating their multiple planes. Two materials were combined to detach the outer part of the cube and make the contact area a harmonically shaped piece with the exterior: the metal (also widely used in Neo-Concretist period) and the blanket of recycled tire scrapes. The result is a new and lovely pattern, highlighting the organic lines that can be viewed where the surfaces meet. “When you unveil the vertical and horizontal lines building a surface it simply subdivides this surface with their own lines of construction.” - Lygia Clark.
