Ambó significa Cinco em Tupi.
A estante Ambó foi inspirada no brinquedo chamado “escada de jacob”. Aparentemente simples, este brinquedo permite uma grande interatividade. Foi criada com o objetivo de ser uma estante que fosse ao mesmo tempo lúdica e funcional. Esta estrutura permite adaptar a estante às necessidades do cliente, tanto no que diz respeito ao enquadramento da mesma no ambiente, como na maneira de arrumar os objetos dentro dela.
Ambó means "Five" in Tupi - ancient dialect of the Brazilian Indians.
The Ambó bookcase was inspired by the toy named "Jacob's Ladder". Apparently simple, this toy allows great interactivity. Ambó was designed with the goal of being a shelf that was both playful and functional. This structure allows to adapt the shelf to the needs of the client, both with regard to the framing of the same in the environment, as in the way of arranging the objects inside it.
